Announcements for the week of July 5
Trinity Reopening: Check out the COVID-19 tab on our website for the latest information!
Grief Share: Trinity will offer Grief Share again for those who have lost a loved one and are going through the grieving process. Everyone is welcome. Pastor Matt will be the facilitator. The 13 week support group begins August 18th from 7:00pm-8:30pm here at the church. The first session will deal with the loss of a spouse. The last session will be: ‘Surviving the Holidays.’ To register, or if you have questions, please call the church office at 219-663-1578.
New High School Bible Study: Our country is in the midst of unrest due to racial inequality, among other issues. The youth of our congregation are aware of this and they have strong feelings. We want to see what God’s Word has to say about this. Starting today, all Sr. High youth (those recently confirmed through recent HS graduates) are invited to participate in a six-session Bible study over Zoom called “One Nation Under God: Healing Racial Divides in America” by Rev. Keith Haney. Each Sunday session will begin at 12:30pm. Meeting ID: 759 3443 2629 Password: OneNation Please contact Craig Gerbers [email protected] or Pastor Gadbaw [email protected] with questions. We hope to see a lot of youth join us for this important and timely study!
Faith Build: Trinity is working with Habitat for Humanity to build a home in Gary among several other faith build homes! Work teams of up to 8 are needed for work days (need to be 18+) and others can provide lunch (for 15 people). Work days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Trinity’s work days are scheduled for July 23rd, 24th, 25th and September 24th, 25th, 26th. Sign up in the Atrium or talk with Pastor Henderson for information.
Many Thanks: How do we say thank you for all the blessings we’ve received from our family at Trinity—the opportunities to serve the Lord in music and leadership; the challenges of learning God’s Word and applying it; the gift of friendships that continue to grow; and the power of God’s love and provision? But we especially thank all of you for your prayers and many expressions of congratulations on our 50th wedding anniversary, and for all of you who celebrated with us as we reaffirmed our marriage vows and shared a meal on June 20th. We love and praise God for all of you. In Christ, Duff & Judy Duffala
